Carlisle, Schooling And A New Filly By Fame And Glory

Celtic Flames looked to be well placed in his race until encountering trouble four from home as he was starting to make a move. A slow jump at the last did not help matters and his sixth placing will be improved on. He will also school over fences to give us another option.

There was lots of schooling this morning before Derek and Blair left for the races; over fences were Big River, Devito'sgoldengirl and Sammy B, while over the logs, tyres and hurdles were Alizee De Janeiro, Spoils Of War, Star Of Milan, Deepsand, Mighty Thunder, Run Rocky Run, Rubydoobs, and Vinos Choice. Pictured are the boys changing over for schooling with the horses Sammy B, Mighty Thunder, Big RIver, Devitos and Run Rocky Run's tail.

We had a lovely new arrival dropped off by Eric Gillie; a three year old filly by the late Fame And Glory who is bred by and will race for, Netherfield Stud. She is a very athletic type and has loads of class. We are looking forward to having her in training and preparing her for a bumper.
